About

Gene Castellini Farms is a third generation family farm. Founded by Gene’s grandfather, John Castellini, after immigrating to Vineland from northern Italy . He then passed the farming legacy on to his son, Eugene. Today, Gene, Jr. is owner and operator and with over 35 years of experience as a grower, he is committed to honoring his heritage in agriculture.

Our mission is to produce high quality vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers for both the wholesale and retail markets. We support the farm to table movement, believing that buying and consuming locally grown food and establishing a connection with the producer is good for the community. Eating in sync with the rhythm of nature is better for us and is nourishing to both the body and mind.

CSA farming has sown the seeds for an entire movement, bringing us back to our roots, which are embedded in local agriculture. Farms and communities are both strengthened by the purchase and consumption of fresh locally grown food direct from the farmer.

  1. I couldn’t agree anymore with Jen, the page looks great! I’m so proud of my family and hoping for a very successful season of the new CSA program this year. Keep up the outstanding work!

  2. Hi! A friend just seen this link to me! I think my grandfather was a brother to John Castellini! He was Joseph (J.J.) and my dad is Tom…both from Vineland! Do you have a farm stand ever? I’d love to say hi!
